How we make traditional German smallgoods

Handcrafted German smallgoods on the Sunshine Coast since 1985.

STEP 01

Source

We start with prime Australian beef and pork from trusted local suppliers, supporting Aussie farmers and ensuring traceable, high-quality raw ingredients.

STEP 02

Recipe

Authentic German formulations brought to Australia in 1985 by founder Franz Born — recipes that haven't changed because they don't need to.

STEP 03

Cure

Traditional curing using first-grade spices and natural ingredients. No shortcuts, no compromises on flavour.

STEP 04

Smoke

Wood-smoked onsite in our Caloundra facility using traditional methods that develop the deep, complex flavours German smallgoods are known for.

STEP 05

Pack

Thermoformed for freshness and shelf life. Pre-packed and portioned options make the same factory-fresh quality available for retail and food service.

STEP 06

Deliver

Sold direct from our Caloundra factory outlet and supplied wholesale to hotels, restaurants and distributors across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
